I am an accountant, entrepreneur, and a small business owner. For over 10 years, I have worked privately for several small and multi-million dollar companies. My experience includes managing account & financial information, tax filings, employment management, maintaining federal, state, and local business industry standards & regulations. In addition, I have also helped represent several clients/businesses in a variety of legal disputes & audits, working with agencies such as the IRS, State & local authorities, Medicaid Audits, Worker’s Compensation, Nevada Gaming Control Board, with regard to taxes, fines, regulations, and enforcement.
In 2015, I decided to go public with my accounting services, due to my first hand experience as business owner myself. My goal is to assist other people just like me, navigate through the complicated process of properly maintaining a business in accordance with the multitude of regulatory agencies. Thus I completed my continuing education and became an IRS Enrolled Agent!
What is an IRS Enrolled Agent?
An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by either passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns, or through experience as a former IRS employee. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before.
